Changing Your SimUText Password

Remember that passwords are case-SensiTiVe and can contain numbers, letters, and special characters. As with any password, keep it in a secure place and do not share it with other students. 

Your SimUText password must meet all of the following criteria:

• Contain a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20 characters
• Contain at least 1 number
• Contain at least 1 uppercase letter
• Contain at least 1 lowercase letter
• Contain at least 1 special character (@$!%^?&)

To change the password for your SimUText account:

1. Log into your Student Dashboard.
2. Click on the icon in the upper right corner of the Student Dashboard.  
3. Click on the "Change Password" tab in the overlay that opens.
4. Enter your current (old) password, and then type a new password (identically, twice) in the next two fields.
5. Click the Reset Password button.

If you have forgotten your password:

1. Go to the SimBio Active Learning System log in page
2. Click on the "Forgot your Password?" link on this page (found below the "Sign In" button).
3. Enter your Username (not your email address).
4. Click the checkbox in front of "I'm not a robot."
5. Click on the Reset password button.
6. Check your email for password reset instructions.

If you have forgotten your Username:

1. Go to the SimBio Active Learning System log in page
2. Click on the "Forgot your Username?" link on this page (found below the "Sign In" button).
3. Enter the email associated with your account and click "Recover Username."
4. Check your email for the new email with your Username.
5. Click "Return to Sign in" and proceed to sign in.
